My 1000th Artwork on @artfinder and it is portrait of my Dad. The original is with Mum and Dad but limited edition prints are on artfinder. If ever I painted with love it’s with this painting. Happy Fathers Day to my lovely Dad and I dedicate this milestone to him. He showed me dedication and passion for your craft. He is a bird photographer and during his career was known as the best in the world being published in hundreds of books and thousands of magazines. He cultivated new techniques of photographing birds in a studio setting that was unparalleled in quality and innovation. I witnessed this growing up and being his begrudging assistant on many an occasion which I now look on with fondness.

I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement.

I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
